Anything for those with Apple One Premiere AND purchased a new Apple Watch? I suspect no, but always feels a little sad for the biggest Apple fans when they don't qualify for free months because they're "all in" on subscriptions already.
Definitely have to agree.

Individual should at least have 1 option to swap out and allow for Fitness+
- Health is a fundamental need for everyone!
(no health, no wealthy no drive to live at any age)

Bring us Fitness+ to Individuals please.

I took a look at the previews, quite interested in HIIT as I've personally never did that type of training (maybe in Jits but that's it for anything close).

Maybe its just me, but is it too much to expect Apple to maybe send out some sort of notification to those of us who have already subscribed for the service to let us know its actually available? 🤔

LMAO ... does this trio of ppl that workout in the Apple Studio for each exercise remind anyone of that 80's TV show "The 20 Minute workout" featured on CityTV in Toronto?

I looked through the app workouts a bit and honestly it looks pretty lame. I’ll try it no doubt but the workouts seem aimed squarely at people who dabble in working out, not anyone even remotely serious about it. And in the rowing category specifically, water rowers??? You can’t be taken seriously as a rowing instructor if you aren’t using a Concept2 erg.

I purchased a series6 with my apple id for my SO who is on family sharing with me, and that was setup with his apple id. When I try to sign up for trial I only get 1 month option. I will try on his iphone this evening but just wanted to mention the instructions provided in this post are not entirely accurate.

In case anyone else was curious about the cutoff date for getting 3 free months:

"Eligible devices: Any Apple Watch Series 3 or later, purchased from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, and activated on September 15, 2020 or later is eligible."

I can’t watch but a few minutes of that without wanting to see ”Flashdance.” I will not allow myself to get to that point in my life. :D
Oh man ... jump half way in ... this isn't Flashdance by any means.

Let just say the camera angles are a bright ... involuntarily precise by a few camera team members - I don't know if it was the producers of the show that pushed for this, or just perverts or who knows.

Just the style of having 3 workout members and 1 person driving the workout reminded me loosely of The 20 Minute Workout of the 80's :D

Ok I need to vent. I have an iPad Pro (see my siggy) and when I tried to download Fitness + app it said that the app has features not compatible with my iPad. What on earth does the app have that's not compatible with an iPad Pro? Really Apple, I need to buy another iPad!!!!

People with iPad Pro 2020 will need to wait for Apple to fix the problem. It (apparently) works for 2018 models.

Any way to get Fitness+ working on macOS? I have stationary bicycle in front of my 27" iMac, I would like to try the Fitness+ out, but I don't see how using 10.5" iPad or 6.5" iPhone would provide better experience than 27" iMac?

Airparrot maybe? I know another thread said you couldn’t AirPlay fitness but it seemed to work for me to my Apple TV. Might not work for airparrot though.

Still seeing the 1-month offer, even after updating and restarting Watch 6, iPhone 8, and ATV4K. I got my Watch directly fro Apple in Oct and double checked that it's authorized and listed under my ID. I can also control all my ATV subscriptions via my connected phone, so it's not an iD problem. So annoying after looking forward to this app.

I shouldn't be surprised by any conduct from the endlessly avaricious Apple, but I now need to buy a soon-to-be-outdated AppleTV in order to stream Fitness+ workouts to my TV (instead of relying on tiny screens) rather than allowing me to use AirPlay through Roku? Apple makes it so hard to love its products.
Ia with you. Offering Airplay was a good selling point for devices, but if true, this is a missed opportunity and poor timing. Other fitness apps can use airplay. If Apple had released a new ATV simultaneously, it would at least make sense. They marketed Fitness+ alongside Watch 6, which requires a newer iPhone. That should be enough.

To that one guy out there who does not have 2FA enabled, Fitness+ requires your account having 2FA, otherwise it will NOT work.

(Yes, I still refuse to use 2FA even after so many years because account access far outweighs any perks 2FA could provide)

I haven’t signed up yet, but I’ve noticed the music seems a bit loud in some of the previews. Can you turn off the Apple Music playlist audio track and/or add your own music?
