I'm finally going to replace my Airport Express with a BaseStation. That means I can use my Express for remote music. But as far as I can tell, it seems extremely wasteful, energy-wise.

It looks like in order to have my remote speakers always available, I need to have both the Express and the speakers constantly powered up.

Has anyone come up with a way to at least put the speakers to sleep until they get an audio signal?
