Without turning off reduce motion, because then you simply get almost none of the new features in os10, how the hell can I make the cards when switching between aps, go back to stopping at every app instead of that stupid fluid movement. I switch between apps while running and thanks to this, I have to stop.

Doing any sort of animation speed changes require jailbreak, on user side.
I don't believe Apple will change the speed of animation during switching apps.

Well, reduce movement will do it, but that's about it.

How would Siri affect the animation speed in the app switcher?

I mean when you're trying to switch between apps while running. "Hey Siri, open ****"

..... Not going to use siri, to change between apps, 300x a day. I'm looking for answers to my question.

    Thanks

Unfortunately it seems like you basically only have a few potential options, either getting used to what it's like, using the reduce motion option, perhaps using the 3D Touch way to switch between apps (if your device supports 3D Touch), or potentially some jailbreakt weak that might do something about it (if/when a jailbreak might come out, if there's such a tweak, and if you decide to use it).

Is it working differently for you compared to what it was like before iOS 10?

Also, out of curiosity, I guess some of the newer animated things in the Messages app are essentially disabled with reduce motion enabled, but does it affect somethings else new in iOS 10 for you?

With reduce motion ON, it works how it should work. Thats how i had it set the entire time. Now with it off, its one fluid motion that makes it impossible to just easily click around.

I see. Yeah, because I don't think it has changed compared to what it's like in iOS 9.

You can try using suggested apps instead or swiping gently on the rightmost side of the screen. There's no other way to enable the slower one by one version.

I feel that the app switcher is too fast as well, it's hard to stop it from scrolling when you're just trying to tap on an app. Tap, scroll... dang it!!!!
