Hard to explain this but I use Googlemaps on here all the time. No problem scrolling the map to move closer in or further out or whatever I need. Had a local gentleman come on remote yesterday to help with another issue. Local company I've used before. He goes over the Mac looking for any issues. Now when I get into Googlemaps I barely touch the screen to scoll in or out and it is so sensitive that it takes numerous attempts to get it right. Is there a setting I am missing to slow this thing down a little? Did he change setting on this Mac or am I looking for another issue with Chrome or Google?

Never had this issue but if I did, I would google this phrase

browser google maps panning zoom sensitivity fast
Well this just muddled the issue even more for me. Confusing trying to figure out all the links and what may or may not work. For someone (me) not well versed on this technology I found it hard to make sense.
