Every so often I'll get that message, Anyone have a fix that works for this in High Sierra, Safari/Chrome/Firefox all same error, none of them work, and Google searches all come back with the same fixes and none of them work. .....Empty cache, turn on/off hardware acceleration, add-ons, extensions off etc. etc.

Thanks, appreciated, did that, but didn't work for me, still same message, I will try that on Chrome later as they mentioned that on user agent page too, but may just be I'm on too old system and OS
In Safari, enable the Develop menu and from it change the user agent for the page to Safari iOS.

You could try Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release), the latest version works on High Sierra.

Thanks, normal Firefox I occasionally still use, because everyone said how safe it was and great for stopping ads/pop ups etc etc. But I found it to let more ads and virus scan pop ups from all over than my very out of date Brave, and that's using the usual ad block and u orig etc. Not sure why Firefox is so poor in that respect, considering it's the only one that still regularly updates itself even on High Sierra. All the other browsers don't want to know and drive you mad to update OS which I obviously can't.

None of them will play those files on any browser, Sadly can't get to work on H Sierra. Thanks again

According to Mozilla, the regular version of Firefox requires “macOS 10.15 or later”
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/123.0.1/system-requirements/

Firefox ESR works on macOS 10.12 and later
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/115.8.0/system-requirements/

To block content, install uBlock Origin https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

Can you share some webpages that return the “File Not Found” error?

Thanks! I still get regular updates for Firefox, and only Brave and Chrome start every time with an update your OS pop up. I have had uBlock Origin on Firefox and AdBlock for ages, but they don't appear to do what they should do half as well as my out of date browsers. Also Safari is shocking for that as well. Lets in some very questionable downloads that aren't blocked. Is the ESR worth the subscription?

The pages are for a company I've done some work for, very basic editing, for their youtube videos, that I'm doing on the even more out of date iMovie, and are now completely down so now wondering if them, not me. I doubt it though, as I've come across this HTML5 Video ‘File Not Found’ Error on various occasions prior to that.

What subscription? Firefox ESR is free.
Sorry, the link you posted goes straight to a pricing page.... but it's their VPN. Thanks
Ah ya know what, I have been using ESR, but never realised it was different, and as for the reviews who say it has less updates.... no, it's regularly asking to download updates. I assume it automatically downloads this version, but I've had it for years, and didn't realise that is wasn't just the bog standard FF.
