Ok, you enter your password on a site and get another pop up about internet security.
I have a friend asking how to stop these. I don't have 10.7 I have 10.6
and I don't know how to fix this.
It is not a pop up blocker issue, just excessive security notifications.

still waiting for a screen shot of his problem, I am just repeating what he is saying

No, these are not advertising pop-ups, they are system pop-ups. For example, when I enter a password for a site, I get a pop-up that says something like, "Sending passwords over the internet is dangerous. Do you want to do this?" and then I have to click yes to continue.

I would give you a screen shot, but I don't know how to do that either in the Mac.
