How to stop App Store from starting on bootup?

Yesterday, I clicked the apple on my 2011 Macbook Pro, then clicked "App Store" and purchased a game.
Now, whenever I turn on my computer, the App store appears. I found where I can check "hide" if I login....but I don't use a log in.
I'm sorry I ever went to the bloody store now, I can't get rid of it!
Any suggestions???

Remove it from your accounts login items.

did you still have app store open when you shut down the computer? and did you have the box checked for reopen windows on restart?
