For some of my songs, AM automatically added them as music videos instead of regular songs, apparently without giving me an alternative. Which could be a neat feature, but brings 2 problems:
-Volume is much lower in the videos, so I have to increase the volume for these songs and lower it again on the next song.
-When I minimize the app with a music video playing, it pauses, whereas a regular song keeps playing.
There are only a few songs like this in my library, but it's quite annoying .

The only alternative I found was to download the MP3s of the offending songs and add them as local files..
Is there a way to just have the song in Apple Music, without the video?

Sometimes Apple Music can be a mess.
I have no answer for you. i took me aged to well re-organized everything.
