Hello, at last, software update on my iPhone 6s+ showed that iOS 11 is available. I ignored it for a day and an update request automatically showed up on my screen. I chose later. Then, it asked me to key in my passcode for automatic update earlier in the morning. I don't want to update to iOS 11 due to lots of issues. How can I prevent my phone from updating it?

Go into your storage settings and delete the update from there. If you want to make sure it doesn't get automatically downloaded again so that you aren't prompted to upgrade you can also install a tvOS beta profile which will prevent that.
I eventually tracked down a Beta Profile from a site. It said it was Verified in my Settings, does that mean it's safe to install? My 6S Plus is on 10.3.3 (and my two iPhone 5 are on 7.1.2) so I'd like to keep things how they are but I want to ensure I can trust the profile if my devices say it's safe.
It's not advisable to try and stop the iOS 11 update because 10.3.3 has several nasty security vulnerabilities that are now being actively exploited. Update your devices.

There's also the wifi krack thing patched in iOS 11, but will never be patched on 10.3.x. I'm not sure if there are active exploits for this yet, but there will be sooner than later.
What about the millions of iPhone 5 and 5C out there that are still on 10.3.3? If the problem were that bad Apple would have issued a patch for them.
It should be an official tvOS beta profile. Apple verifies the profile on their servers.

Perfect, thank you I was hoping that was the case but I wasn't certain how the profiles worked.. It's on my phone now and it's reporting it's up to date even though it's on 10.3.3.

Those folks should be buying new hardware at this point. There are some incredible new iPhones and iPads for them to buy.

There's a long list of security issues that were fixed in iOS 11.0 and upwards.
Not everyone can afford to replace a perfectly good device simply because Apple can't be bothered to patch security vulnerabilities.
iOS 11 is too laggy and buggy on my 6 to use on a daily basis, so it's not happening for me. I'd even go back to 9.3 if I could (you know, as if I owned the device or something).
