Hi,

It might be a bit hard to explain this, but is there any way to stop your browsing history from being automatically stored in my iMac?
For example, if I search something and delete my history, the thing I searched still shows up if search it from the Spotlight Seach.

I went to Spotlight Search and wrote "kind:bookmark"
It showed me all the history of all the pages I've visited after downloading Yosemite. (over 12,000!) Keep in mind I have always deleted my history. Why do they still keep showing up?
How can I not have them stored without Private Browsing?

I am using an iMac from the early 2009, OS X Yosemite version 10.10.2

Turn off the Safari option in iCloud.

Or use Private Browsing.
