How to stop Instagram notifications on iWatch?

I've already tried the usual...go into iwatch, click notifications and well- there's no instagram app in there... so I can't even turn it off...

any other ideas?

I had IG notifications on the iPhone set to ON, and badges only.

On the IG app, turned off messages notifcaiotn, but it still pops up banner, in the app.

You talking about on the iphone? or watch? I allow notifications on the phone, turned on. Badges turn on. The rest of it ... banners, notification panel, turn off.

If I turn off notifications, I dont get badges. Then it wont buzz my watch.... but i want badges on the phone....

You need to disable notifications for instagram in the settings inside the watch app on your phone...

The problem is when you leave notifications turned on (for the sounds and/or badges), but turn off the alerts/banners (as the OP did)...it no longer shows up in the 'Mirror iPhone Alerts From' section in the Watch app. If you leave Sounds enabled, it still sends a notification to the watch, but you can't turn it off because it's hidden in the Watch app.

@urbantea, this is what you need to do:

1. Turn the alerts/banners back on for the phone.
2. Go into the Watch app, and turn off mirror notifications for Instagram.
3. Go back and turn off the alerts/banners for the phone.

Or optionally (if you don't care to have notification sounds on the phone):

1. Turn off Sounds in Notifications for Instagram. That will stop your watch from buzzing (and also not show any notifications if you leave them turned off on the phone).
