I JUST WANT TO BE REAL CLEAR since people here have a tendency to only look at the title without reading the question, I would like to keep the account picture I have, but would not like it to be displayed whenever I send an email to another person using Mail. I hate that my image is displayed along with the email and certainly do not want a picture of various sports balls.

the account picture comes from your Address Book and only displayed in Mail on your computer, it's never sent to people.

Yea just like if you would to have a friend's picture in your Address Book and it will show up in the email if they were to email you. They dont actually get it and it is only visible to you. But are you still tryng to get rid of that?

ahhh I see I see, that is very helpful to know. I mean clearly the time I most frequently notice emails I sent to myself are when I am reading them on my own Apple so that would explain why I would presume that they were integrated into the email as a whole.

Good work fellas, thanks.

and no, there is no need to remove it now, I love staring at my own picture;)
