ill be on an international trip for two months and alas, i will not be taking my iphone 4. How do i store it so that the my iphone has the exact (or close) battery power holiding capacity as it did before i left.

p.s have an iphone 4 cdma

1. Lay phone down.
2. Leave for trip.
3. Return from trip.
4. Continue use of phone.
:D

I believe you charge it up to 50% or something and then turn it off. I would personally just leave it as it is and turn it off; ie: no special treatment.

Have fun wherever you are going! If you don't mind me asking, where are you going?:)

According to Apple to keep the battery in shape you should completely discharge-charge at least once a month.

I think skipping two months won't hurt the charge capacity. Oher Li-on manufacturers recommend storing the battery at 40-50% charge for long term storage. Just charge (or drain) to 50% and leave it off.

Enjoy your trip!
