Quick questions as a beta tester i got into a habit into restoring my phone as new with ipws and re syncing apps from itunes apps back to iphone but now itunes has got rid of apps whats best way to do this, if i restore and look on iphone at purchased apps i have 1000's so would take ages to find apps and re download then and i dont wanna back up and re sync i wanna restore as new?

I don't think you can now.

But think of it this way... There is no way you have 1000's of apps on your phone. So for the much lower number of apps you do have if you can't remember what they were then you probably never used them, so it would be a good opportunity to cull them.

yeah i only have about 30 apps on my phone but its a pain to go search for each one and download on both ipad and iphone each time i restore i miss just sync over using itunes but guess i have to get used to it

Can't you just go to the "Purchased" section of the App Store and download from there?

Problem is i have 1000's apps i tried going thru them and hiding ones i dont want but was taking ages so wasnt a good method

Restore back to iTunes 12.6.
Disable auto update for iTunes or even the entire system altogether except security updates.
And you are fine.
