I upgrade every 12 months and always end up having a warranty replacement device from Apple - what do I care?

Just use it. Plug it in when you sleep and it will be ready for a days use when you wake. Obsessing will only ruin your enjoyment of your phone. The battery will last way longer than most will own the phone.

Like the MBPs, people seem to get overly worked up over the battery. I use mine and don't worry about the battery. If I need to replace it a couple of years down the road, I will. The only thing I avoid is deep drains, other then that, I'm more interested in using the phone to its fullest potential.

This! Another thing I do is turn the stinking percentage off. It's off out of the box anyway.

Don't use it, or ever charge it.

Actually that's quite dangerous for a lithium based battery ;)
