How to take screenshots in a game?

I have a MBP with Snow Leopard and I cant figure out how to take screenshots in a game (Starcraft 2). I've tried both command+shift+3 and 4 but they dont seem to work, normally it saves a picture on my desktop but when i do this in a game nothing happens.
