Does anyone else have only 1 package showing up even though you ordered 2? I made two separate transactions with the same account, so the reference number should be the same. Apple's site still says Preparing for Shipment for both orders.
I should note that UPS is saying the package weighs 2.0 lbs, which seems to be heavier that most peoples.. (usually seeing 0.4kg, 0.7lbs). Is it possible they are combined into the same package??

Most people have 2 packages that show up when they order one lol. But Ty by using the order # instead.
I think Apple is holding our iPhone 5's via UPS/FEDEX until Thursday, that is when we will get the shipment email. Tracking info says it was shipped "UPS NEXT DAY AIR SAVER." It will ship Next Day Air on Thursday, and we will get it Friday. That's probably why everyone is still seeing "preparing for shipment." And the erratic UPS tracking updates, mine said it arrived in Louisville, KY twice. All least I'm getting it 9/21 so I can't complain.

Just remember that most of the packages are going through the Louisville, KY UPS Worldport for distribution throughout the USA. Hope those collage students working the night shift there keep up with all of the boxes. But then the UPS Worldport can handle up to 416,000 packages an hour.
Mine is still sitting in Nashville but should move out later today for Louisville. It finally showed up about midnight last night on the tracking site.

Ah ha, finally got it to work. My status is still Preparing to Ship but I used the phone number trick and it shows both my phones are in Addison, IL and scheduled for delivery by end of day Friday. I had to use my home phone number to get it to work.
Mine still says preparing for shipment. I guess mine is already in the US so it can be shipped overnight to Toronto, ON.

I'm in the US, ordered at 3:41 (PA) threw AT&T, and I'm still getting nothing from everyone! I'ma freaking out here! Whyyyy
Just checked my phone's status on UPS.com. It's in Louisville, like most other people. However, I just noticed the delivery time changed to "By end of day". I thought these would arrive before 10:30 am. What's up?
Mine says it left Anchorage, AL at 12:58am this morning.. that is the last update I have. Mine also says delivery by end of day on Friday the 21st but at apple it is still preparing for shipment.

Went to UPS.com, entered my phone number which the phone is attached to (No - symbols), zipcode, date between 9/17 and today, and country of shipment. I have all the updated trcking info with a "delivery by 3PM" on the 21st.
Mine originally started in Nashville...interesting. Hope this info helps!

Ditto... left Anchorage at 12:58am on 9/18 but no updates since. Slightly disconcerting. Still says 21st end-of-day. Apple site still says "Preparing for Shipment." One Black 64GB AT&T and one White 64GB AT&T. I live in TN.
As said a few hundred times.... Friday. The "system" might stick something else on some orders, but they will get there when they get there. These are not NEXT DAY no matter what the "system" says.
With as many deliveries as UPS will be making on Friday, there is no way possible that everybody's phone can get to them before 10:30 am. If possible, plan to take the entire day off because there's no real way of knowing what time yours will arrive, unless the UPS man always shows up in your neighborhood around the same time every day.
I'm worried on whether my phone will arrive on Friday, I ordered when they came out and it says delivers 9/21 but I can't find any entries in ups or FedEx and it still says processing online even though my card has already been charged. Anyone seeing anything similar?
If it says it will deliver on Friday, I'm pretty sure that's when you'll get it. Things won't start moving again until tomorrow, when UPS & FedEx have to start shipping the phones to their final destination to be loaded onto the trucks. I'd check those sites again tomorrow, probably later in the evening, to see if there's been any updates.
I agree. Be patient. Mine still says that it departed Alaska with no updates, but that's fine.
The one thing I noticed is that delivery was "by end of day", but as of today, that wording is gone, and it just says "Friday, 9/21/2012". Typically normal UPS deliveries to my house arrive somewhere after 5pm. Maybe this will be an early delivery? I hope so, but we'll see.

Okay, so I'm managed to 'track' my iPhone. Although according to UPS it hasn't gone anywhere. Still in Addison, IL. I also have yet to receive my "Your Order has Shipped!" email from apple. Its now Wednesday, I'm starting to get a little antsy...
