Documents by Readdle is what I use. Wirelessly connects to any pc or Mac that has an SMB share active on my network, can even sync folders.
Of course adapters are a possibility but I’m not gonna sit in front of my Mac and copy stuff onto a USB stick anymore, those days are past.

iCloud? Works great for me, accessible on all my devices and on the web, everything from little clips for LumaFusion to feature length films. Never had a problem.

I was hesitant on getting iPad because of this since I watch so many movies. Streaming from pc is not the same and glitches a lot. Now I'm happy and enjoy my iPad with this method.
