How to transfer old to new mac

If I sell my mbp now.. whats the best and easiest way for me to save all my data..then transfer it over to the new mbp when I buy it.. so the new mbp will be the exact replica of my old one.

I believe that would be either SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner to an external hard drive then back to the new one

If i was u, I would simply use time machine back up everything in my mac and then restore everything to new system by either reinstalling system or using migration assistant.
