My notes on my older iPad are on my iPad only and I wish to transfer them to the new iPad Pro. I do not wish to sync to iCloud. Is there a way one could use iTunes to sync notes from older iPad to their MacBook and then resync those notes to their new iPad? This function used to exit on iTunes before but seems to have vanished for some reason. I set up my new iPad Pro as new instead of doing a restore this way I would not have any problems with restore or how new iPad ran.

Contacts, music, calendars, videos, and photos all seems to sync perfectly with iTunes but why not Notes?
Can anyone help? Thanks

Not quite what you're after: have you tried air dropping the notes? If you don't have many it shouldn't be too much of a pain. Unfortunately I believe that with iOS 8 or 9 syncing notes via iTunes was removed.

Thanks for kind reply.. Not sure why Apple would do such a stupid thing to remove notes syncing. What do you mean by air dropping? I have just over 100 notes I would like to transfer to new iPad. Thanks

From each note you hit the share icon and air drop is the bar across the top - assuming both devices are capable. Bluetooth and wifi need to be on on both iPads, and the receiving machine needs to allow air drop (contacts only should do the trick providing both devices have your contact card set up as "me").

That worked, thank you. Not as easy as syncing but none the less it worked, thanks
