I just got my iPhone tonight and hundreds of my emails are now on my iPhone, of which I deleted from my Mac's inbox over time. I don't see any way of deleting messages in bulk on my iPhone, so is there any way to truly sync it so I don't have to delete emails on both devices? If it helps, I'm using two accounts: comcast.net and gmail.com

Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :)

The problem, I suspect is the emails are still stored on your server.

My advice is to get an IMAP account. This is the best path for multiple email accounts.

Yeah, I was searching on Google and I finally have an idea of what all the IMAP talk is about. Does it really sync in real time? Say I checked my email on my iPhone... would it show up in my inbox at home on my Mac? If not, can I mark certain ones to stay and certain ones to automatically delete?

    Thanks!
