Everyday without failed, the App Store will remind me to update. I can't see anywhere to turn off the reminder. Its getting irritating as I can only postpone "remind me tomorrow". Any help.

Tks

Have you taken a look at System Preferences>App Store?

Keep in mind that turning of the option "install system data files and security updates" means Mac wont receive the latest malware definitions so you might want to turn it on occasionally...

What is it that you do not want to install? Any reason why you postpone it?

There is a command-line program that you can use to indefinitely ignore specific updates. Open the Terminal application and enter the first command to list the available updates. If the update is listed, then you can use the second command to ignore it, by copying the exact name of the update as presented by the first command to the end of the command. The second command requires administrator privileges.
Code:
softwareupdate -l
sudo softwareupdate --ignore name_of_update
