Does anyone out there know how to disable "authentication" in Jaguar? I am the only user of my computer and find this constant requirement for authentication when loading software or updates a nuisance.

I know, I know... security and all of that. I do not believe that I need to authenticate everything unless there is another more pressing purpose.

Help!

Mike

Sorry, I don't know of a way to do it. Actually, I don't think you can. I may be wrong though.

You are right though-I am the only user on my computer, and the authentication is annoying.

When I reinstalled I just left the password option blank. Now I only have to hit OK or whatever it asks.
