IPv6 is causing some issues loading some websites on my iPhone. How can I turn off IPv6, or remove the addresses, and use IPv4 only?

Does your ISP and network router support IPv6? Or is your phone loading IPv6 pages without IPv6 support?

Yes, my phone has an IPv6 address - issued by my router. IPv6 is causing some network issues loading certain pages.

Have you tried assigning a static IPv4 address on your phone? I'm not absolutely certain this will keep it from acquiring an IPv6 address anyway, but it's worth trying.

Beyond that, I'd see if you're having issues loading the same websites on the phone's cellular connection. If not, try disabling IPv6 on your WiFi router and see if the loading issues go away.

Addendum: You may also consider using another DNS server on the phone, such as Google's Public DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4).

Best I could do was turn off IP V 6 on my WiFi router. iThings don’t get a DHCP feed for it and just run V4.
