I'm trying to do something in terminal, and it asks for my password. I press a letter on my keyboard, and nothing appears. I am in the right window and everything, terminal just doesn't react to my typing.
However, when I click enter, it says 'Sorry, try again'.
So it does react to the enter key.

HELP 😕😕😕😕😕😕😕

That's how Terminal works. Your password is typing, but it doesn't display.

PS if you don't know this, you shouldn't be using Terminal.

It isn't supposed to show anything as you type in the password. If you type it correctly followed by enter, you will be fine.

If it is asking for you're root password, you will have to enable that.

Ah!

Thank you! I get it now.
I didn't even thinking about that 😎😎
My syslogd is no longer taking over my CPU~!
