One annoyance that I find with iOS emal client is that it is only loading new emails when I get into the app. Since this process is not instant, sometimes I'm in the middle of deleting an email when a slew of new emails showed up. This can result in me deleting unsuspecting new email. Really annoying. But how do I undo it? I look at older iOS version videos where you can shake to undo it. But without shake to undo, what should I do?

Triple finger double-tap will bring up the context menu to undo. Added in iOS 13 I believe.

I should mention for me it’s kinda hard to do in Mail without hitting another email which then opens the message.

Thanks. That worked, although quite unintuitive. And yes, doing it on the email area can trigger going into a specific email. I end up triple fingering on the "All Inboxes" label.

And add me the that group who now thinks Apple's iOS email client is not good...

You could set your Back Tap setting which is found in Accessibility, to Shake. I have it set in Double Tap because I hate shaking every time I want to undo any kind of deletion, not just that of an email, but also text...

That option is not available on my 7 Plus.

Anyway, going into Acceesibility, I found the option to enable Shake to undo. So back to normal. :)
