How to uninstall GarageBand

Hello All-

On my hard drive under applications I have a folder which says GarageBand 5.1, double clicking it opens GarageBand 5.1.app, dbl click that opens GarageBand'09 (v.5.1) application.

Under the GarageBand 5.1 folder I have an icon of a guitar & amp which says GarageBand.app, dbl clicking that opens the application GarageBand (v. 10.1.0)

It looks to me I have two distinct GarageBand applications on my HD. If so, how can I uninstal the 5.1 app and retain the 10.1.0 application?

Just drag it to the trash.

Close the app, move the GarageBand.app to trash from Applications folder if you installed it in there.

Just hold it and swipe it to garbage box "Trash"

I did it for that app, I know others aren't that easy

To uninstall completely any software, you can use two apps that are efficient in this process. One is AppCleaner, the other is EasyFind that helps to clean the leftovers.

I did go with Appcleaner
