hi all, i'm new to mac, checked some features but there is something wrong, how do i uninstall software?
i have aproximately 15 gb of preinstalled software, and i really dont need the major part, how do i get rid of this?
where is the ''control panel'' or something like YaST of linux?

by the way, i have mac and suse linux on my macbook, left 20GB disk free for documents, not formatted, which program formats me in ntfs or some common file system for both OS?

Here is a guide to uninstalling apps in OS X.

As for the preinstalled apps, you'll find that GarageBand and its associated loops, iDVDs themes, and printer drivers take up a lot of space. Some people prefer to just wipe their machine and do a custom install of only the OS X components they want. It's effective, but not entirely necessary.

You can use a tool like WhatSize or OmniDiskSweeper to find large folders.
