How to unlock an iPhone 4 running 4.3.1

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine needs to unlock her iphone 4 (baseband : 04.10.01)

Can it be jailbroken/unlocked while kept in that version or is it possible to upgrade it to ios 5 (5.?) and unlocked ?

Any ideas are welcome.

Gevey or you have someone with an AT&T account request to at&t that the iphone be unlocked (for free).

I live in Europe

I've never heard of this Gevey sim card.
Is it the only option ?
Isn't it possible to unlock some other way ?

Make sure the Gevey sim will work on a non-AT&T phone
