how to unlock my 3.1.2 3GS?

well Since the new iphone is right around the corner im about to sell this 3GS...

I'm trying to get as much as I can from it.

its a black 32GB 3GS, the screen is immaculate. But the back of the phone and the silver edges suffer from the wear and tear of owning it for a year,(nothing major).

how much can I expect for it?


and how to unlock and wipe the memory?

If u downgraded from official 3.1.3 the baseband has been updated also and cannot be unlocked at the moment.

If its at 3.1.2 still, u can probably run BlackRa1n to jailbreak it. Then install BlackSn0w from Cydia for the unlock. I don't know about the memory wipe though.

Blackra1n won't unlock 5.12.xx. OP upgraded it to 3.1.3, then downgraded.

You cannot unlock baseband 05.12.01
The firmware has nothing to do with an unlock. The unlock is done on the baseband.

My bad. Yeah I missed the part where he upgraded to 3.1.3.
