How to update the HHD to SSD?

I have a new macbook pro, I wanna update the HHD, so I purchased a 40G SSD from Newegg. But how to do it?

40 gb on a macbook pro isn't very much space though..

its cake, just watch a few youtube vids. seriously no probs, just need to have that T6 torx screw driver.

40 GB? That's really not much space to hold certain apps and keep things moving...an external is a must!
