M MrVegas macrumors regular Original poster Apr 15, 2012 #1 I'm rather ignorant about OS X. I have an iMac with 10.5.x. I want to upgrade to Snow Leopard or Lion. Can I go straight to Lion? On the Mac online store it says you can download Lion for $29 but you have to have Snow Leopard first.

BrianBaughn macrumors G4 Apr 15, 2012 #2 You'd have to have SL first, then Lion...assuming your iMac supports either one.
