I dont think Ive ever had the Music app crash on iOS, iPadOS, or even MacOS.

If the issue isn't client side it will depend where the end user is located. They will use CDN's located close to the user to reduce latency.

I'm in the UK and it's been bad for the last few months on iOS in terms of kicking you out of the app.

This is nice but Apple Music needs a Sleep Timer like the Podcasts app. Can't really use any of the sleep or meditation playlists on Apple Music because otherwise they play all night.

Also can't use the Timer app as a workaround because then you have to change the timer sound every time you need to set an actual timer.
Yes! This has always been so stupid. Let's get a sleep timer within the music app please! (And also for this new feature.)

Interesting. Will try it out once I update my iPhone after a couple of weeks after it is made available.

This is nice. We can finally quickly put on a soundtrack as per our requirement. This will add more relaxation in day to day life.

I have used playlists in Apple Music like this, but this is very nice. Putting it on the control center and having it available to everyone, even if you don’t have an Apple Music subscription.

You need to use the Timer app in the clock app and instead of a sound you can select „stop playing“ „when the timer ends“.

It’s rather convoluted and not at all intuitive.
Yeah that’s not really a solid solution 😂 There needs to be a timer in the app or a Sleep Mode or something. Hopefully that will come in future iterations!

[HINT: Write Feedbacks to Apple. Share your ideas, your hopes, your vision, your game-changers. They just might work on them.]

Apple Music apps across OSs are COMPLEX and VAST.
Scroll left and right, different screens from left panel show different results. Scroll up and down to see more carousels.
I mean, this thing is COMPLEX, like Photoshop-complex. And that's before I get to the integrations, controlling specific streams across devices and joining speakers!

But I just want to get to that Focus static playlist. Oh how I love Focus. I wrote to Apple about it in a Feedback. I mean I listened to this thing every day, all day. The tracks get old, but they're just right for my work mindset.
Oh, how I wished it were more than a playlist, but a channel, like Pandora. And arrived "FOCUS" Channel. You know, the one with the big green target. Bravo, Apple!

Most days, I arrive to the desk ready to work, excited about an idea. I want to get to work on it right away. And I want music to drive my mind. In personal time before that, I've likely been listening to various albums and orchestra performances of a classical piece, sometimes same orchestra same piece but different recordings!
Inevitably when I get to the desk, the FOCUS button is long gone. Hunt for it. Hunt. Sheesh. Where is it?

"I wish there were a way for me to 'widget' my favorite Channel or Playlist, like maybe on the home screen or lock screen, or elsewhere, so I could have a one-touch access to my favorite few channels."
(yes, there is a way, using Shortcuts, but you gotta be savvy)

Enter AMBIENT MUSIC! Bravo!! Thank you, dear Apple!

And BRAVO MacRumors for showing that you can customize these buttons with Playlists from your Library! WOW! THIS is EXACTLY what I asked for!

It's annoying that there isn't an easier way to toggle which playlist you want to play for each category. The only way to easily select different playlists in each category that I can figure out is to add a separate control to Control Center for each playlist. I know the controls could be smaller, but I decided to make them medium.

Speaking of the Control Center, I wish you could swipe down from the first screen to get to the last screen (and vice versa) instead of only being able to flip through screens back and forth (instead of in a loop).

Thanks a lot!🥰 I was looking to find a way to stop it after a while and you came out with the solution🏆
Perfect! And you can mix it with one of the Background sounds of your choice,
set to play "when Media is playing "
It's available in Control center under the icon of the " Ear", below Speaker,
Settings are found all the way down: Background Sound Settings.
No Apple Music subscription required, because someone will ask 😉

Been using the “sleep” function the past two nights to fall asleep. Has been pretty working pretty well.

The only problem is that you need to have wifi on. It doesn't work when is off.

No, it doesn’t even need the Apple Music app installed. Seems to be its own thing.
So my question is: Where does the music play from then if not from Apple Music? Because when you tap on the playing now on your control centre screen it does seem to open a full screen controle for the ambient music, but when you swipe up you can see there is not app involved...

I always like to know where content is coming from, does it involve a background download of something? Does it require an internet connection? etc.
