Hi I'm a young mac user and would like to seek expert hereby to give me a hand on how to use the TERMINAL as i know it require to know UNIX but I am not farmiliar with that so question is how or where can I brush that up?
There is also a Wiley book named "UNIX for Mac" that is very good at explaining various Terminal concepts and commands for those not used to UNIX OSs. ISBN 0-7645-3730-X.
Where do I find your books? Are they shipped internationally? Thank you for all help hereby......... and the responses are godamn efficient and I'm lovin it!!!
The ISBN number is international. The book itself is US published, but I picked up a copy at Waterstone's in the UK easily enough. Quote the number at your local bookshop and they should be able to order it for you.

This tutorial goes through the basics of working in a UNIX shell. I would expect that most of the commands listed in the tutorial will work without any problems on OS X. (From the shell user perspective one of the big differences between different variants of UNIX is that some commands have different switches on different systems.)
