I have to speak really loud and close to mic for this to work for me. I wish it was configurable how sensitive it should be as it is really not convenient for me now having to keep mic really close to mouth and almost shout... I use my watch with reverse orientation by the way and wonder if that affects the expected gesture. This was actually my most anticipated feature for watchOS5.

I turned this feature off. I found myself accidentally talking to Siri a lot when all I wanted to do was check the time while having a conversation.

Sorry, but this feature is not in Watch OS5 for series 3 either. He may have been testing the beta but the actual release, I'm surmising, only works on the Series 4 watch.

Yes it is. I have been using it on my Series 3 since i updated and I am on the GM release and was never on the beta.

But not series 2? I’m not seeing the option and I updated to the latest watch OS - hey Siri is the only option!

This thing is so buggy. Does not work well with a series 3. I was really hoping it was easy and fluid, but they need to iron out the bugs on this one

For me, raise to speak is a cruel joke. I can practically put the Watch in my mouth, and still get no response from Siri. Gonna stick with "Hey, Siri".

No different on Series 4.
