I know you don't want to use Skype, but it's one of the easiest to use between a Mac and Windows.

Since I use Skype and know it works, I'll leave it to others to suggest other alternatives.

Here's an article for getting iChat and AIM to work together. Other than that, do a google search of "video conference mac to pc" and you'll get quite a few hits.

    Why no love for Skype?

I video chat with both our kids from my MAC to their PC and it's totally seamless.

You could use aMSN if he uses Windows Live Messenger on his PC.

Tried the latest beta of MSN messenger for Mac? It's finally added audio/video support.

How is it in terms of use compared to 7? Can people see your display pics finally? Can you see theirs? I used to think MSN for Mac was the only one that felt right but I've got kinda used to Adium now, do you think its worth checking out when it comes out of Beta?

Suck it up and use Skype. It's free and it works perfectly between my MBP and my son's PC. We started out using AIM, but it was spotty as I recall.

OP, seems like most are in agreement to give Skype a try.

    Why not?

Who knows, you might find out that works well in your situation.

I command you to use Skype. Do not use anything else because I don't feel that I would like you to use anything else. :D
