Too bad the feature is implemented very poorly and you’ll miss it 90% of the time.

That screen vanishes within a split second without you even looking at it or pressing dismiss. Can’t believe macrumors is actually hyping it as a feature instead of critiquing it as a bug.

Um, why doesn’t apple just make this a permanent feature of the lock screen through an option without the complicated setup.

And without requiring us to “always on” our location for weather. Don’t want to kill my battery just to get this feature

The main drawback - you'll live with always-on location arrow on your screen :(

I don't think this happens anymore; at least not from the Weather app. I have its location privacy set to "Always" and the arrow is not always on the screen.

It does appear occasionally, but only when apps are actively using my location data at that moment.

Um, don't turn on Airplane mode overnight?

There's no need to anymore now that we have the Do Not Disturb feature. Just use that and your phone won't make a peep until morning.
I’m a crazy nut that doesn’t want my phone transmitting signals 12 inches away from my head all night. I’ll do without the good morning screen I guess. Nice feature tho.

I had this a few months back, but one day when I woke up, I found no weather forecast. Since then it has never come back. I’ve repeated the steps shown here and it still doesn’t come back.

This feature really never works for me. I think maybe twice since they implemented it the weather showed up, but otherwise never see it.

Took a few tries a few months ago to finally get this to show up. Cool feature, but it's extremely brief.

Would love a simple setting where you can have this always on - all day or maybe a custom time setting
(Ex. between 7am-11:59am. Or whatever time frame you want)

It must be very location dependent. The weather channel temperatures are easily the most accurate where I live (and I have tried virtually all of the various services).

https://www.forecastadvisor.com shows TWC at around 79% accurate for my area (leading over all other weather services)........ obviously your results differ.

So, where in Europe do you guys live? (Obviously we're not talking about the U.S. here - that's the one location where i'd expect the weather app to get it somewhat right). Here in Austria, the weather app's data is pretty inaccurate.
