How to watch a VDM file?

Hi All,

A newbie here. I have some CCTV footage that I am trying to play on my mac but it won't work. I have tried downloading VLC to watch it but still no luck. Can anyone recommend a programme that will either let me watch it or convert it to a compatible format?

It's not a video file mate it's a Windows file for VMware.

Never heard of this in my life, but a simple Google search for "view VDM CCTV" brought up this.

It looks like there is a plugin for Mac.
