How to watch YouTube in HD?

I am using iOS 6 beta 4, so I do not have a YouTube app anymore. When using YouTube on Safari the video quality sucks. How to get HD video?

I'd assume it adjusts to you bandwidth like normal web services. Mine plays HD on my wireless at home (50meg)

ahhh, maybe mine was just HQ then. I was watching on my iPhone and it looked pretty sharp.

iPhone is a small screen.

On the iPad even with HQ, it does look subpar.

Yeah, that makes sense. Youtube on the iPad doesn't use a mobile version though right? Haven't got my iPad with me at the moment

HQ is HD in safari on iPad and iPhone. It always has been.

Unless this has changed for iOS6? 😕

On iPhone the video quality is definitely only 480p and on iPad it seems to be only 720p. Tested on iPhone 4S and 3rd generation iPad.

Trust me. I got my eyes checked recently and got new glasses.

YouTube!'s mobile client is HTML5 and can display HD video on the iPhone in Safari.
