Simple question but I haven't been able to find the answer. I know on iPads we can pinch to zoom in on the window where the puzzle is. I know I can zoom in the entire screen if I turn the accessibility options on but I want the zoom functionality that's present on the iPad.

I am not using a MacBook so using the trackpad is not an option. I wonder if there's a keyboard shortcut that I cannot figure out or is there a way to do this with a mouse?

I'm not using an Apple mouse but if someone confirms Magic Mouse can do this I will just buy one for this functionality alone.

I'm trying to teach my girlfriend programming. :)

I'm also having this issue. And I'm using a MacBook, so using a trackpad doesn't help, unfortunately.
One would think they would implement such a simple feature as pinch to zoom and support their own hardware.

I bought a Magic Mouse but to no avail as it doesn't work with it either.

Sorry to hear. And yes, I would also think they would implement it — and I think they may have, but it is extremely buggy. Since my last comment I've completed 4 Chapters of the Learn to Code playground (maybe 35 exercises) and sometimes (very rarely) I'm able to zoom in/out on the floating island, instead of it rotating. But it isn't consistent. If I return to that exercise I can't zoom in/out. I'm using a MacBook with trackpad.

I also would like to increase the size of the text on the left, which can't be that hard to implement, and is a standard accessibility requirement. I suppose this is the drawbacks of it being one of the first Catalyst apps..
