I just got my 6S and I feel like when I press hard to trigger the second part of force touch that I could crack the screen at any moment.

Is this even a problem, I'm probably just being too cautious.

You can adjust the sensitivity settings for 3d touch to allow you not to press as hard. Go to settings>general>accessibility>3d touch.

Try a display unit in the store and see if the pressure is similar. If so, you are probably fine. I don't find that I have to press that hard. There are adjustments as others have said.

I have to press my screen hard to enable it, regardless which setting it is on. Is it faulty? I just got it on 31 Dec.
(6s plus 128Gb) iOS 9.1 loaded by default.
