It seems a lot of people on this forum are saying that buying from their carriers are more efficient.I personally like ordering from the Apple website. It's always been a much quicker process for me than going through my carrier and it's more streamlined. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

LUCK YOU!!!Even though I got a bit late meaning minutes in placing the order from apple online and then I got the initial date of Nov 10-17 but then my order updated to November 3rd delivery and I got it on time perfect. I would prefer to buy from Apple.com and I always do.

I think the carriers are faster.I went on the Apple Store App and Website at the time of the launch of the iPhone X and it was out of order for 20 min.
Then ordered the iPhone X and will receive it 6 Nov-earlier than expected.
Everybody says going through the carrier is quicker however not sure if they receive it on 3 Nov or if it will be shipped then.
So overall I’m pretty happy with the experience since I was expecting it for end of Nov.
