I REALLY like that feature.

And I am glad that I got the beta on my Series 3 before they pulled it.

For a first beta iteration it is quite decent.

They must be doing something right, with its popularity.

Marketing. They've successfully created a watch that works the same as any other watch that costs over $20. It's a status symbol or fashion accessory that you wear on your wrist that has some useful functionality. Is that functionality worth what you paid? In many cases, I think that's an easy no. Check how many people are actually repeat buyers. I don't think we have any statistics on that, yet.

Yet the Apple Watch has better hardware, stronger integration with watchOS and iOS, and is likely the best health watch on the market. I’m not sure what other watches offer the same experience that the Apple Watch does in term of what it excels at with those above considerations. Yes, there alternatives, but I think the Apple Watch is not only good option, but if the only option that would make sense for somebody who has an iPhone.

First, I think the Apple Watch started off as a fashion accessory and has migrated to Being more health related. So it depends on who you’re asking, but it does give the sense of customizing it with all the watchbands coupled with all the functionality as well. Every user might find different variations of how to use the Apple Watch, I think the Apple Watch pays for itself in terms of being a multi tool.

You mean, we don’t have any _accurate_ statistics on that. But I would think that how popular the iPhone is a direct result of the Apple Watch being the necessary accessory to choose because of how it communicates with the iPhone.

Also, you mentioned marketing, but notice how Apple has shifted the marketing from being an accessory to be more health oriented, clearly it’s working being that’s one of the best selling smart watches in the world.

Not going to happen. This will be a huge fail. Web devs took so many years to catch up and optimize for smartphones despite the huge market share. Simply put, with the ultra tiny market share of Apple watch users no one is going to waste their time and resources optimizing for a 0.something % market share.
