How well will my mac run Leopard?

    It should run it fine. Just make sure you have a graphics card that supports Core Image and stuff.

    yes I do.. I have a radeon 9600 pro in it. full core image, quartz extreme and core animation in leopard. apple lists the 9600 as compatible with all of leopards graphical enhancements.

    Some G4 users have reported speed improvements in Leopard beta over Tiger.

    Its really amazing how Apple actually makes hardware run faster with the newest OS. I remember panther feeling faster than jaguar and tiger faster than panther.

    I doubt microsoft will ever do that.
