That's right, this is a poll to see what YOU think Apple is going to do about this issue.

What exactly happened with the iPhone problems? this should be the same story.
I have no idea what you are referring to.
there were no iphone problems, except the price, and apple never should have done anything about that
I was under the impression that some people had buggy models and they were just replaced. is the iTouch problem less select than that?
Apple should never have lowered the price? I have a feeling that their shareholders wouldn't like that idea as it would have kept the iPhone a niche product.
In any event this thread is a voting poll, not a discussion about Apple marketing strategies.
I think squeeks was suggesting Apple should not have refunded everyone $100 after dropping the price.
"Drink the blood of the faithful"
will quietly fix the issue at their factories, the ones who will notice the problem will eventually get a fixed model after many many returns and the ones who will put up with this or won't notice at all will be unsuspecting customers to Apple's 'bad' units that otherwise would have meant a loss for the company.
The returned units will be shipped back to factories and would have their LCD's replaced with the better ones and then injected back into the market at random.
An inquiry might be launched and a few QA managers will get the sack.
You won't know anything about this.
