Look at the app after the cydia app, it's so that the iPhone could be plugged into the TV, that would make the most sense.

He's no longer employed by Apple for commercials. He can do what he wants to his phone. So can everyone else. Jailbreaking is no longer illegal. This is a non-story. The article states that the show's producers probably added Cydia to help with TV out. That's a wrap, folks!

Why should Apple care.

They didn't care that the new App Store director's claim to fame was his fart apps.

And Justin doesn't work for Apple anymore.

How would your previous employer act if they knew you were using some competing technology, eating at a different restaurant or whatever it is that you do? They wouldn't.

anyone have the name of the tv app? imagine playing emulators on a big tv with that...

Pretty sure it was just jailbroken to connect to the TV.

Which still makes Apple look a bit bad. Something so simple as mirroring the display should be part of the base OS and not just for Steve or jailbreakers.

I doubt anything will happen. He and Apple aren't even making I'm a Mac commercials anymore.

Although he probably lost out of the "I'm an iPhone" commercials. :)

If Apple is going to exact revenge on Justin Long, a former employee for having a jb'ed iPhone what are they going to do to me, an employee with 4 jailbroken iPhones!!??!!?? rofl :D
