my biggest problem...

Shortcuts are fine.. but since im using mac for general stuff, im thinking if its worth carrying on buying mac machine as i use .net and visual studio, backup server ill set up will probably use windows home(or linux) and most of the streaming stuff i use as well as the codecs are more windows compatible in a sense.

besides the pleasure of using something different for fun for photo editing and photography in general, i cant find much use.

all in all i think youll find it an easy and relaxing break from something you use every day, which is why i bought the mac in the first place. After years of windows i still think it works great, but a break is nice.

So just enjoy your mac, and work on windows at work, it would be a problem 🙂)

If you're anything like me you'll really begin to detest Windows and do your damnedest to avoid using it pretty quickly.

And the best part is you don't have to play "IT Support Guy" to all your friends and family anymore...

"Hey, I'm having this weird problem with my laptop, it keeps..."

"Sorry, I've never had that problem on my Mac... I couldn't really tell you how to fix it..."

The more and more you use your Mac at home, the more and more you will loath having to deal with Windows at work, and constantly having to fix the same stupid Windows problems all day long. Sooner or later, you'll start to think about Apple certifications and moving into the OS X IT world.

Good luck.

The only problem with using OS X and Windows is that the more you learn OS X and become to love it, the more you hate Windows.

Ctrl-Alt-Delete gets old... fast.

I can't agree more. I was a Windows Diehard, but no longer.

Oh, and once you've been on a Mac you'll enjoy the installation of programs too. No longer do you have to wait several minutes of dll installs, and reboot, after reboot. Install, copy to your app dir, and/or dock/desktop, and done!
