How will Spatial Audio work on my M1 Mac Mini?

I heard that my M1 Mac mini will be able to do spatial audio with a capable AirPod model soon perhaps probably with the upcoming new MacOS update soon.

Can the Mac mini tell where my head or AirPods are in relation to the movie playing on my external monitor screen ?

Apple has finally explained how Spatial Audio for AirPods users will work on Apple TV with the tvOS 15 update coming this fall.

the system now analyzes the direction the user is looking when they start playing a video based on AirPods sensors. If the user gets up and walks around, the system will recalculate the position in order to re-enable Spatial Audio.
