How will you spend your $100 MAC APP STORE GIFT CARD???

Buying software for college. I'm getting a free copy of Microsoft Office for Mac but I'll probably end up getting iWork as well. I'd like to get familiar with both Office and iWork.

I'd give Apple a call and see if they'll let you take advantage of the B2S deal without having to return your MBP. If not just return your MBP and reorder it while the B2S sale is going on.
 
I'll also be either buying some software or selling it on plasticjungle to re-coup $90 of the $3000+ Cost.
 
For students, would you get a $100 gift card on top of the educational discount? To be on topic, I'd probably opt for an Apple TV.

Yes, since it is a back to school sale. It's for students. But the gift card is only for the app store/itunes/ibooks etc. Not for physical merch.
 
Darn! Guess that free iPod Touch deal is long gone. To me that was equivalent to a $200 gift card. Oh well, at least they're giving away something.
 
Here's a good question that I hadn't thought to ask til now: does your apps from iPod and iPad transfer to your Mac? Ie. Like if I bought angry birds on iPad would I have it to play on Mac as well? My gut instinct is no but I thought I'd ask anyway

No they will only work on your iOS devices for now. Hopefully the release of Lion will change that!
 
I plan spending it on software. Probably pages, the rest of the money can go to apps and other stuff.
 
Well, i have to wait until I have my acceptance letter in august, but I will just buy some games and apps. Music/movies can be found elsewhere a lot cheaper...
 
I am not going to get a 100 dollar card. If I buy a 13 2011 refurb it cost me 1269 if I buy a 13 2011 with education it cost me 1399 that is 130 difference.. A hundred dollar card is too small. Why buy from the education store and lose money. The warranty is the same from the refurb store. There are some other deals that are better if you buy a refurb. I listed some will look for more. I found a third one and a fourth one.

So the first deal the 13 inch 2011 it is 130 lower priced as a refurb you save 30 bucks.
The second one is the 15 inch 2011 it is 170 lower priced as a refurb you save 70 bucks
the third one is the 17 inch 2011 it is 180 lower priced as a refurb you save 80 bucks
the fourth one is a 17 inch 2011 it is 190 lower priced as a refurb you save 90 bucks
