like most people.... MORE USB... (industry standard is 4 - c'mon!)
mag-latch

num-pad keyboard on 17"
that's about it!

blu-ray too much $... make it an option maybe
keyboard is great as-is

I think I'd like to see a redesigned case, first of all. It's nice and everything, but it's obsolete. It's been in production unchanged for six years. Also, a nice ThinkPad-style keyboard would rock on the MBP. If you've ever used one, you know what I'm talking about.

Not like I particularly care or anything, the black MacBook is the perfect machine for me.

EDIT: Oh, and to the poster above, a number pad on the 17" MBP would be functional, maybe, but it would look stupid. Haven't you seen the 17" Dells and Toshibas with number pads?

A case that looks more like the MBA

Magnetic closure

Increased display tilt angle!!!!

Decreased weight if possible

A case that doesn't expose misalignments the way the mbp does. More like the MBA in that regard .

No yellowing of the display and better viewing angles.

Less heat

Larger multitouch pad. The current one is too small for comfort.

Replaceable, easy-access hard drive

Detachable, wireless keyboard

A display that be raised for ergonomics.

After all the above, add all the other performance feature people are talking about.

Very Happy With Mine

I really do not understand all the fuss about having a Blue-Ray player in my laptop. It certainly would be a tremendous battery drain and if I want to watch a movie I do it on my HD Plasma. This machine absolutely blows away my 3 year old PowerBook. Mine is used for a tool and not a toy and there is not much other than the magnetic latch than I would add.:)
